Learning to Love America

Learning to Love America is a very interesting poem. It describes how a man learns to love his country and talks about what it means to him. Every line starts with "Because" which shows he is answering the question of the poem. The line i thought was important was "because countries are in our blood and we bleed them." I thought the author was trying to say that people show pride and loyalty to their country. They respect the country and are happy to live in it. The author wrote this poem to show how much he cares for his country.
Another line I chose was " because it has no pure products" I thought this was interesting because it shows that America gets their products from other countries around the world. I thought that line was true.
The tone for the poem was full of pride and loyalty. The author wrote this to express his pride to our country and he is glad he lives in America.
